Big step down from book one. The main tags for the book were barely focused on. There was barely any spice & it wasn’t as dark as I usually prefer. I think the “morally grey” aspect didn’t read right in this one for me. And it was very two-dimensional compared to her other works.
I found the male narration overly stereotyped and it never really divulged from the toxic masculinity. The words/emotions and the tone didn’t line up.
The advocating for sex worker rights was overly repetitive and heavy handed compared to the action/plot. Yes it’s important to the story and character… but make the point and move on.
