Common consensus about this book is that the author rambles about personal things too much, turning a book primarily about psychology into a partial memoir. I agree, but I actually think the author’s dilly-dallying made for some really fun and memorable (and sometimes cringy) detours.

I don’t necessarily agree with all the psychological principles in this book, but I still enjoyed the overall storytelling and will be thinking about this for a long while.
