Going in with the title and the blurb I thought this was a serial killer romance. I eat that shit up every day. So when he showed up at her door "I was like how did you get out of prison." I zoned out for a while because all it seemed to be was sex. I even had to ask my sister if it got better. She told me there was a twist and it was really good. Clearly we have different views on good because I could barely get through it. This is why triggers should be listed in the front of every book, not the back or on the author’s website and said at the beginning of the audiobook.

I’ve read plenty of on page abuse in like Phantom or Pucking Wild but nothing like this. Someone close to me had miscarriage and her partner didn’t try to help her and made it all about him. One of my family members is schizophrenic so both of those things together was not a good mix for me.

Ghost stories can be good ie anything Simone St. James writes but what the fuck was this
