Interesting, discursive, low-key sci-fi with an interesting relationship at its center... Enjoyed the hipster-beatnik vibe and the elegant and unfussy illustrations. The story definitely suffers from some stereotypical tropes, particularly a form of "manic pixie dream girl" characterization that left me unsatisfied. But overall a strong book with a lovely visual style...
