Wow - Just WOW!
My first Laura Elliot book and what an amazing read! Best book I've read in a while.
It is so well written and considering the subject, it makes it hard to put down.

Emotional, heartbreaking and haunting but such a great read.
Marianne has been through a lot at only 15 years old, ending up in a mother & baby home run by a woman called Gloria.
Adele finds her mother's diary from her youth, which tells a harrowing story of what she endured that awful night.
Adele decides to go back to the town the attack on her mother happened in to try and find justice 24 years later. She finds a lot of hatred, cover ups and an attack on herself. How far will she go to find out the truth, and will she have the strength and courage after a terrifying ordeal happens to her in a bid to try and stop her uncovering what really happened.
Brilliant twists and turns, just as you think you've pieced it together, bam another puzzle thrown in.
Honestly, if you are stuck for a book to read, this is so worth a read! I could not put it down.
