I love Artemis Fowl, and I'm starting to think that the series can do no wrong. After the loss of Julius Root in the last book, this book really ramps up the more "adult" feelings. Artemis enter puberty, we see the introduction of a number of new characters, we feel real senses of loss. Its just an excellent expansion to the world the series has created. The twists and turns are really exceptional, in my opinion, and this particular one might be one of my favorites in the series.

The perfect book for a family to sit down to read together.
