As someone who avoided Fantasy for as long as she could, it's really very surprising that I went through a book even if I found so many things ridiculous at the start of this book. And I don't regret keeping my patience. Coz, picking up this book, deciding that when I wanna dive into fantasy genre, this is the one I wanna read, was one my best decisions ever.

Idk how many fantasies I'll read in future, but this book is not gonna leave me for some time.
It's not a fantasy romance. No matter how much the part of Bookstagram or Booktok tries to sell it as a book about one of their fictional crushes, Cardan, this book is owned by Jude, this book was written for Jude and this book is for all those who wanna be a real life Jude. A fighter, a survivor, and above all, The Queen❤️
Jude Duarte is probably my top favourite FMC for now & for a long time coming
