This book should have been perfect for a fantasy fan like me. Beautiful settings with characters that have wings, magic and an unknown land under the mist. There was also some representation with the MC being a PoC. But, for some reason this book just didn’t click.
The characters weren’t compelling and the story seemed to be all over the place. Most of the time while reading this I was frustrated either with the characters’ actions or because I had no idea what was going on.
