The Kind Worth Saving by Peter Swanson
3.0

Something has always felt off about Joan, she seems…dangerous. One day she turns up at Henry’s door – he’s a private investigator and she asks him to investigate her husband. Henry remembers Joan from his days as a high school teacher – the day something went horribly wrong.

This simple case of infidelity goes sideways when Henry finds Joan’s husband and his supposed mistress dead. Henry can’t help but feel the past is repeating itself.

Is it possible that Joan knows something about what happened all those years ago? Is someone getting away with murder? Will Henry be able to figure this puzzle out…or will the danger be too much?

This was a fast-paced book told through several points of view per part. I really enjoyed how each part had different points of views, but they all flowed together seamlessly. This book was also well written and developed. I particularly enjoyed how this book was about a serial killer and told from their point of view. Those are always some of my favorite chapters. However, this book was not my favorite. I didn’t feel like I cared about the characters, and one of the characters that the book was about was introduced too late for me.

If you’re looking for a unique book about a serial killer, then grab a copy of this one – it’s out now!
