I didn’t find myself enjoying this one as much as I liked Earthbound. It seemed more… predictable.

Tavia and Logan are in Curatoria headquarters. It is there that they meet Daniel, the leader of the Curatoria. Daniel wants Tavia’s help to stop the virus devastating the planet, or at least to help create a vaccine.

It is also at Curatoria headquarters that Tavia learns the true extent of the traumatic brain injury (TBI) she received during the plane crash. She also realizes the full implications of what that means for her… and Logan.

This book does have a love triangle that I didn’t really like. To be completely honest, I couldn’t get behind either boy. Logan is the fated, destined, immortal lover Tavia is bound to. Benson is the boy human Tavia fell for before all the Earthbound stuff came up. Both of them do things that I didn’t like. I didn’t really care much about either but I did feel a bit bad for Logan a few times.

Anyway, I guess there is a third book in this series but I’m not entirely sure I want to read it. I’m pretty sure I can guess the ending of the series already. With that said, I did enjoy this book as it did entertain me.
