I think this was the first time I read something like this, so its refreshing to read something that has a dynamic of a widower with daughters and a confident young adult girl who embraces her sexuality. I liked how they started from colleagues to colleagues with benefits because it all more makes sense for both leads to start as fuck buddies due to their circumstances than jumped straight to being lovers. After reading each chapter, I couldn’t guess what would happen next since it’s unpredictable (at least for me) and that’s why I loved it. There’s a thrill in the process while reading it. I love Madeleine’s character. I super loved it! She knows her worth, she’s confident, intelligent and most of all she’s self-aware. She’s also giving a girl’s girl vibes. She’s literally someone you want to be in your life or someone you’re grateful for to have. While, Zach’s character was a roller coaster ride of emotions. It’s understandable to feel confused and valif to question his faithfulness and love for his ex-wife. I also loved his daughter’s characters. I liked that one scene when one of his daughters age-shamed him. Lol.
