Dracula The Graphic Novel: Original Text (Classical Comics) by Bram Stoker, James Offredi, Clive Bryant, Staz Johnson, Jason Cobley

5.0

I loved this! I have yet to read the original Dracula text so I cannot offer a comparison, but the graphic novel is beautiful. It was well-paced and easy to follow. I knew that Dracula was written as a collection of various documents, and I think this adaptation emulated that style exceedingly well. Everything about the artwork is gorgeous. My only complaint is that the text bubbles/boxes are not well-edited. There are some places where words seem to be missing and several instances of inconsistent grammar. At first I just assumed that they were intentional English mistakes since I mostly noticed them in Dutchman Van Helsing's speech (and some of them may have been. Again, I have not read the original text), but there were also a few similar mistakes from English native speakers as well.
