It’s… rough. The writing is enchanting, spellbinding. The character development gets into the nitty gritty. Archer is so caught up in the call of violence, barely grounded by the few friends he has. Sefia wars with guilt and feels a duty to correct the mistakes of her parents. It’s hard to watch people struggle, to see their weakness so clearly laid out. But it’s also just so dang intriguing! So onto the next I will go.
Violent, not explicit, but persistent in a way that made me pause for a few days in reading. Sexually tense, but nothing overt. Both hetero- and homosexual romances.
