Frida's diary entries reminded me very much of the works of Walt Whitman, Garcia Marquez, and Yoko Ono, all wrapped in one. The problem is that it was a bit too personal for me to fully enjoy. The book itself was quick to get through due to the fact that most of it was copied illustrations from her diary. I did enjoy Carlo's Fuentes introduction. He made many references to other artists, and writers. The book as a whole could have been better.
