I enjoyed learning the lore of the world along with the human protagonist.
I loved the pace, it started slow but intensified pretty quickly around the middle. The second half of the book felt different from the first, a lot more intense and good payoff in pace.
The slow build romance between two characters who one hated each other (very beauty and the beast) kept me reading, and after that all the little mysteries andthe tension of Feyre’s individual trials .
I found Feyre a little flat at times and hope she can find more depth in her motivations in the sequels.
