Did not finish book. Stopped at 31%.

I like gore and violence but this book is all shock and no substance. I can stomach the scenes and the world building was pretty cool but the writing was just not good. The story/plot was incredibly weak and the reader is just slapped in the face over and over again with nothing really being accomplished. This would have been a really great video game, but not a good novel.
