Did not finish book.

I really wanted to like this, but I didn't. I actually could not even finish the book (at 70%) because I was not interested in anything that was happening. It makes me sad, because I do like the characters, it just feels so chaotic and boring.
The writing made me feel like the time was a snail trying to cross a dry asphalt road. I could not even keep my eyes focused on the page.
It might be just me and the timing, so I do want to give this book another try another time. Because I am interested in what will happen, just cannot focus on it for the life of me, when there are other books I'd like to read.
If anyone has any playlist recs that could motivate me to finish this once, I'd appreciate it.
