This is not a romance, it was more of a memoir of a 20 something American girl living in England on a work visa. Adelaide falls in love with an attractive Englishman who’s emotionally unattached and a bit of a mind F! Adelaide is a doormat blinded by love, this part was both somewhat relatable and frustrating. I wanted to shake her silly.
