Lovelight Farms
by B.K. Borison
Lovelight Farms is a warm, wintry romance set on a Christmas tree farm, and it’s got all the ingredients for a Hallmark-style comfort read: fake dating, small-town charm, and a heroine trying to save her struggling business. It’s sweet, soft, and sprinkled with holiday magic.
The best part? The friendship-to-lovers dynamic. The male lead is a total cinnamon roll supportive, gentle, and genuinely swoony. Their relationship feels grounded and real, and the setting is pure cozy escapism.
I gave it 3 stars because while the premise was adorable and the vibes were festive, the pacing felt uneven and some emotional beats didn’t land as strongly as I hoped. It’s a great pick if you’re in the mood for something light and seasonal, but it didn’t quite hit the emotional depth I was craving.
Still, it’s a lovely start to the Lovelight series, and I’m curious to see where the next books go!
