Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe
4.0

First and foremost, I would like to thank my dear friend Kate for this Christmas gift a year ago when we used to go to bookshops and hoard. Also, I would like to share a quote I shall cherish from now on...
"What is this earth and sea. Of which I have seen so much"

Like many classics, I have read before this one shared a whole new perspective for its readers. It's about survival, religion, faith and resistance. Its realism in ways that people these days no longer know since the majority of our society depends on technology, well, hundreds of years ago Robinson Crusoe travelled different islands but before that, he was a slave in England and survived a disaster and ended up in an island. He questions life and death as he tries to live his life on the island. Like many classics, I try to criticize books that were written hundreds of years ago, each leaves me with a small bit to bring elsewhere.
