This book follows the lives of three protagonists and their families, starting from when all three are facing a moment of change, and ending some time in the future.
I was definitely entranced by the characters, their life stories, their personalities, but I'm not really sure what happened in this book. What was the plot? Where was the conflict? I guess I lost the thread at some point. Maybe that was the point: not everything can get resolved in a convenient climax or tied up in a bow; life goes on.
I liked the writing style and I feel like it's been a long time since I read a book that challenged my vocab like this. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
