I very much enjoyed this addendum to Wonder , for it added some much-needed insight into Julian's behavior towards Auggie. For me, it wasn't until the chapter containing Grandmere's story that I actually felt any understanding or affection for Julian. That one chapter redeemed him and showed the readers that, like Auggie, Julian has his own demons to slay. It plays into the concept of Wonder beautifully--it's not fair to judge someone based on what you *think* you know.
