This dragged on sometimes, I thought it could have been a shorter book, but at least there was a sort of ending which is new and exciting in these times.

I saw some of the plot twists coming and am very glad that I was right about the male leads. That was good foreshadowing and I'm glad my gut feeling didn't lead me astray. I appreciate when twists are foreshadowed and don't feel like randomly dropped in. This book did that very well I think.

I really enjoyed this.

My only very personal complaint is that they use "axe eyes" too much as a descriptor because it describes nothing. The only mental image it forms are cartoony and ridiculous and I wish they would have kept it as a nickname only.

I loved Hekla. And how soft Silla is.

Also I'm very excited about the sister subplot continuing in the next book!

And I loved the diverse rep, so nice to have disabled characters in the main crew.
