Definitely not Sedaris' best. I prefer his short essays about his life and family, which were included intermittently in this collection of short stories. He definitely has his signature bite in all the stories, but I think he was trying too hard to be humorous. I still enjoyed reading them, especially "The Last You'll Hear From Me." I can't wait until he releases his next one!
