Mrs. McGinty's Dead by Agatha Christie
4.0

It was published in 1952 and, whenever reading an Agatha Christie's book, we have to bear this in mind.
In this Hercule Poirot mystery, the author seeds little clues throughout the book, but I only realised which ones were relevant towards the end of the book, but before Hercule Poirot's revelation.
Again, Agatha Christie makes us wonder who could have killed Mrs McGinty. As with her other novels, there are quite a few characters and therefore quite a few potential perpetrators.
James Bentley, the victim's lodger and the person convicted of the murder and sentenced to death for is, isn't helping Hercule Poirot very much in trying to prove his innocence!
I again really enjoyed this month's read. I did feel for Hercule Poirot having to stay in a guest house, which is well below anyone's standard!
