Cottagecore Galore: A Timeless Coloring Book by Katie Vaz

5.0

Cottagecore basically describes my life, despite the fact that I live in a very urban, downtown flat. I adore knitting, sewing, making pottery, herbalism, baking, curling up reading, gardening, birding, and going for long walks right from my front door. This colouring book perfectly captures the cozy, earthly, slow-living cottagecore style in all sorts of fabulous designs. Further, there are differently patterned styles so that you can chose whether you are interested in colouring intricate details or prefer to shade in larger swaths, according to your mood. Some of my favourite pages include bundles of recognizable herbs, a collection of diverse candlesticks, a scene with a kitty warming itself beside a wood-stove in the corner of a cottage with herbs hanging from the ceiling above, a bunch of different cottages, bees, and the owl on a stump. But there is really SO much more to discover in this cute collection of feel-good colouring pages. Honestly, I really wish that the publisher had sent me a physical copy so that I could be colouring right now!! If you are into anything cottagey or homesteady or slow-living in any way, I absolutely recommend this colouring book to you.

Many thanks to Katie Vaz, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and NetGalley for the digital advance preview copy of this colouring book, in exchange for this honest review.
