Ain't I a Woman: Black Women and Feminism
by bell hooks
informative
reflective
medium-paced
My first time reading a bell hooks book in entirety! Such an important read about the history and patterns of feminism regarding Black women. hooks touches on intersectionality specifically with sex and race, but does not mention the effects of sexuality in relation to feminism. All in all, I enjoyed this read and learned a lot. I definitely need to read more from bell hooks!
