Disney Princess #1 by Amy Mebberson, Geoffrey Golden, Georgia Ball

4.0

Our whole household are huge fans of Amy Mebberson's Pocket Princesses web comic. She took a hiatus from those to do start this book (understandable, since this one pays). While I prefer the webcomic, I realize that I'm about 35 years too old to be the target audience of this comic book. All that said, this comic is a series of vignettes about the princesses, before and after their transformations. The interactions between the characters are sweet and amusing. If you have daughters who enjoy princesses, this comic is a great introduction to the genre of comics. No scanty costumes only sweet stories about characters that become more real when you read them on a page when written and drawn by Amy Mebberson.
