Suzanne Collins really knows how to write. I knew how this story ended and I was still in suspense the entire time. She's great and dropping little clues that are collect into one big mic drop. Everything from Plutarch showing Katniss the watch to Beetee and Wiress showing Katniss how to spot a forcefield to Finnick saying that he deals in secrets. It all adds up into a masterpiece of a story. I think there are times where the writing veers a little more YA and I think it can take away from the graphic and brutal nature of the story. It had the telltale mark of a good book for me which is that I couldn't stop thinking about it when I wasn't reading it. I'm excited to go into Mockingjay.
