This book was quite good.
I would 100% recommend reading Twisted Trilogy 0.5 because none of that context is really recapped in this book. Again, I don't know why that couldn't have been the start of this book but oh well...
If you dislike inner monologue (in any way), this isn't the book for you either. There is also a lot of repetition; when switching POV, the conversation doesn't need to be repeated again.
About halfway through, I was quite invested in this book but I just didn't really feel like anything was happening. There wasn't enough interaction between Giovanni and Amelia for my liking. I didn't feel much emotional connection between them. I felt this way through the majority of this book. Way more content was needed in order for this to be a trilogy.
