Whose Body? by Dorothy L. Sayers

4.0

This was a fun romp of a detective story, and I am growing to like Lord Peter Wimsey as a character very much. I feel that Sayers allows for the escapist, sensationalist gratifications of her readers, but draws them in toward unexpected moments of introspection, character development, and even some philosophical depth that defy the genre. Still, it was funny, suspenseful, and the conclusion was not outside the reach of my own detective predictions.
