The book offered little to no plot with a showing and not telling way of the book with dry dialogue and characters who could be switched with a cardboard cutout and it be the same book. The main characters faced little to no consequences for their actions and were very one dimensional characters. The way the two end up having children is terrible and there should have been more time to focus on that or not have in as a scene in the book at all. All I’m saying is that if Daphne has no haters I’m dead and rolling in my grave.
