I Need You to Read This by Jessa Maxwell

3.0

The original newspaper building setting of this gave it a little bit of a film noir vibe, which is good for an October mood reader.

I thought the 'Dear Constance' letters peppered throughout were too long (they would never publish a letter of that length imo, so why write them that way?) and that the "twist" of them was obvious - but it could just be because I read another book recently with a similar plot device.

Some things kept me guessing and some  were predictable, but overall this was a sort of a cozy whodunnit - not too scary, and good for someone who wants a thriller that isn't too scary.

Thank you to Jessa Maxwell and Atria books for the opportunity to read and review.
