I liked the story and the raw emotions of it, and how it wasn't so much driven by plot than by the characters' feelings and pain. That was a really strong part of the book.

However, the French translation was clearly weird at times, like someone white and old writing it haha. And the dialogs were also a little weird and didn't feel quite like something people would say. So in turn the character interactions weren't really strong. The romance especially didn't work for me.

Enjoyed the story and the Feels, but I felt like the translation and maybe the dialog/character interactions got in the way of me enjoying it even more.

Anyway another instalment of "should I really read French translations because after studying translation I can feel it when they suck"
