I’ve been reading so many thrillers lately, so this book was a good break from all that.
First off, I absolutely loved all the asian representation! I adored Melvin Lee (at first) and laughed during his “set”; it actually felt like I was sitting in comedy club, and I enjoyed that.
Ryan was FREAKING adorable. While the lack of communication was frustrating at times, both of the characters’ problems were valid and understandable.
I’m not a huge baker myself, but every baking romance novel I’ve read so far has been super cute and makes me want to get into it. Please, Ryan, be my baking teacher. Thank you.
