I was underwhelmed with the final installment of the Bourbon Kings. I think the series could have been about Samuel and Gin or Edward and Sutton and I found myself losing interest every other chapter. Why? 1. Too much internal dialogue and 2. Lizzie and Lane were as uninteresting as you can get.

I wanted more but yet, the drama was over the top and Devil's Cut just fell flat (for me).
