I re-read this book, so I could go through the entire series, as I never finished it years ago.

This is a guilty pleasure type of read for me. It’s fun, easy, and just something to enjoy and not really evaluate. (Kind of like the cozy mysteries I enjoy.)

Vampires, mind readers, and shape shifters… This taps right into my love of the supernatural.
