Hyde by T.L. Brown

5.0

Hyde was hands down my favorite book of the series so far! If I could have given it more than 5 stars I would have!

Waking up in a trunk covered in blood, wounds and torn clothing Hanna fears the worst until she learns she did it to herself, which oddly enough makes it even worse than her fears. Her memories come back quickly and remembers the death of her best friend and fear it may have been at her own hands. Distraught over the loss and the struggle of not knowing what happened to her puts her on edge and it doesn't help she was brought to the death bed of her estranged father. Even having anger toward him for so long doesn't stop the pain she feels at his loss.

Roland, a wonderful trusted servant of her fathers now serves her and can only offer up so many of the answers she is looking for. He gives her the journals of her father and as she reads them she begins to view him in a whole new light. It's through these journals she learns what she is ... but will she accept it? Marcus, a long time friend of her fathers, has offered the same help he had offered her father.....help with creating a formula for a cure, something to control the beast that dwells within her. His price? Only a few drops of blood. Doesn't seem all that bad...but nothing is ever what it seems.

She meets the rest of the gang and becomes aware of the supernatural that live among the humans of the world. She has men literally falling at her feet and ends up in a tangled love web.....yes not triangle, a web! Each for different reasons she feels a pull toward them, is there a reason? There's always a reason. Hyde is packed full of action, suspense, betrayal, tragedy and love - you can't help but cry, scream, laugh and gasp as you try to hold onto your heart.

Once again Tara delivers a wonderous journey that I will most definitely not forget!
