I'm a huge fan of Azalea's Odd Blood series and when I found out that she was coming out with a new series set in the same universe I knew I needed to read it away! I was fortunate to receive an ARC and it did not disappoint! If it wasn't for work I would've devoured this in one sitting! I absolutely loved it and it may be my favorite Azalea Crowley book so far! I adored both of the main characters and loved the dual pov! Ella's and Eugene's chemistry was *chef's kiss* and without sharing spoilers they shared so many moments that had me kicking my feet because I was so giddy, because Eugene has to be the most charming monster that I have ever read about! The story has a whole kept me captivated, Azalea's world building is exquisite and really sucks you in. I'll admit, I'm not big on mob stories so I was a little nervous that I'd lose interest but that never swayed me. It turns out I enjoy them very much when you add monsters to the mix! The way it ended (note: I was just screaming at the last few pages lol) I'm really excited to see where this series goes!
