"I suppose I wanted to make you see the moment I knew I was falling for you."

Danielle never thought she would be expected to turn into the supernatural creatures that destroyed her life. But Danielle must make a choice; die or feed. With forces conspiring against the crown and Aiden losing control, the transition has become the least of Danielle problems. And Julian? He might just be hiding the most killer secret of all.

⤷ This book did not improve from the last at all! I felt this book was worse and even more disappointing!

⤷ Same issues from the last book; amazing twist and turns but lacked when it came to delivering them, the book was too fast-paced and not great when it came to world building!

⤷ There were way too many points of views and half the time I had no idea who those characters were. It was really confusing and hard to keep up with!

⤷ I was not a fan of dialogue and writing! The only way to really describe it was it being weak!

⤷ The thing that annoyed me most within the story was how some the characters were urging Danielle to forgive Aiden! He murdered her parents and destroyed her life, yet they kept on trying to guilt trip Danielle into forgiving him, like how messed up can you get?!

"I hated him for what he had done. Hated him. But one glimpse into his mind and I understood."

I don't enjoy giving books low rating when I've volunteered to review them but I'm always honest when it comes to my reviews and this book was just not it for me. I don't think I will continue reading the rest of the books in this series or any other books from this author.

Thank you, L. Danvers, for providing a copy of this book for an honest review! :)
