The story was ok. There was just to much missing information for my taste. A lot of the how of what people were doing.

The town builds a wall around there homes. I just needed more info on this. How tall is it. What does it look like. They collect wood and rocks but what the heck are they doing with them. People patrol on the top of the wall so it must be wide enough to stand on.

The descriptions of people and places were missing as well. I didn't even catch what color hair the lead guy had. Some of the problems the main guy, Gary, faces puzzled me as well.

His shoes wore out and he couldn't find any replacements. I under stand that there has been a lot of looting but I imagine that would be mainly food and basic necessities. I think he should have passed a walmart or a pay less shoe store. Sure people would have taken all the food. I don't think every pair of shoes would be gone.
