Dracul by J.D. Barker, Dacre Stoker
4.0

Despite a rather baggy second act, I really enjoyed this Gothic thriller. While it's not as good as Bram Stoker, great-great-nephew Dacre (in association with J.D. Barker) gives it lots of atmosphere and interest. From what I understand, it's an attempt to recreate the original 100 pages of Bram Stoker's seminal novel, which were edited out in rewrites. If you're into vampire or Gothic fiction in general, this is certainly worth reading.
