I loved this book. Streatfeild has a no nonense approach to prose that I found refreshing. It painted a glorious picture of the life of these three girls with tiny whisps of whimsy. Lovely.
2019 Re-read: This is my favorite out of all of Noel Streatfeild's books. It is charming and a breath of fresh literary air. It is a perfect read when you want something light but lovely.
