This one was sweet :D. A pretty relaxing read following Kevin, a veterinary nurse, and Webster, a former Army mechanic who's spending a month hiking and ends up spending a weekend at Kevin's cottage during a bad storm. It's closed door, but the interactions between the two are very soft and sweet, without being sappy, and Lester's prose draws you in so you feel like you're seeing the cozy cottage and the storm lashing the windows. It's not too fast-paced despite the length, but doesn't feel slow; it's a very cozy, comforting read, perfect for reading with a cup of tea.
