Moll Flanders
by Daniel Defoe
I don't think I liked it, but I didn't dislike it. The writing style left more to be desired. Moll just skipped from event to event, a little dialogue here and there. It just seemed really long-winded and there was no foreshadowing or plot. More along the lines of what Moll can do in the present moment to escape.
Moll certainly had an interesting life. I can't believe she just left her children all over the place while she moved on to her next phase in life! She didn't have other options, but still, I was shocked that she didn't even think about retrieving them all in the end.
This is a classic you can skip. You are better off just reading a summary.
