This was hot, pun intended. The setting was unique, the conflict felt fresh, and the found family was fun. Cal, known fuckboy, meets Scottie, a woman running from some big issues. Fuckboy falls hard, secrets come out, but they make it work. The spice? Insane. The crisis/storm? It was a nailbiter more than once. Sloane always changes up tropes and stale romance trends and I can't wait to read more from her. Also love that this is set in my beloved PNW.
