Dry by Jarrod Shusterman, Neal Shusterman

5.0

I adored 99% of this book. The premise seemed so plausible, and the situations and themes explored by the author were so engrossing- not to mention Shusterman's uncanny ability to create life-like and relatable characters. Every single plot twist not only kept me on the edge of my seat, but also still felt like a natural progression in the story. My one disappointment was the ending. I loved the little bit about Henry, and I think many of the earlier themes were mentioned... I just would have been interested to see more. It felt not quite rushed, but more paused right before the true ending. That said, this book was phenomenal! Now that I've read the Scythe series, Dry, and UnWind, Neal Shusterman is officially my favorite author of all time and I'm going to go read all his other books.
