Not as good as Magpie Murders. Also, how racist do you have to be to make your only Black character an angry, incompetent cop with a powerful build? And then describe him as the racist one? I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given his comments about Midsomer Murders' lack of diversity.  Dude, just leave us out of your books and out of your mouth.
