Cheryl's story is raw, moving, emotionally evocative. I feel further inspired to do the PCT one day, or at least, some form of backpacking. I also thoroughly enjoyed how connected to her I felt throughout the book. I waited in anticipation each time I had to set the book aside. The narrator captures it all very well and does a great job with the various voices and vocal fluctuations.
