What a waste of time! The book started off very promising, like a Jodi Picoult type moral dilemma but took a sudden turn and just became one giant eye roll. The whole book supposedly takes place over the course of 1-2 weeks. It starts out as a volunteer lunch mom in an elementary school is forced to make a moral decision when an explosion rips through the school cafeteria. There is enough of a story right there, no need to have the main character go Nancy Drew and yet, she does. Suddenly we’re dealing with murders, political conspiracies and corruption that end up miraculously solved by our rogue hero lunch mom. Give me a break! Honestly, I think 2 stars might be on the generous side but I don’t care enough to go back and change it.
